How to Request Account Deletion
If you wish to delete your CollectPay account and all associated data, please follow these steps:
Processing Time
Once we receive your account deletion request, we will process it within 15 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been successfully deleted.
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:
- Profile information — your name, phone number, and account details
- Customer data — all customers you have added, including their names and contact information
- Transaction history — all credit and debit entries, interest calculations, and EMI records
- Coins balance — any remaining coins in your account will be forfeited and cannot be recovered
What We May Retain
In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, we may retain certain information even after account deletion:
- Transaction records required by law — financial records that we are legally obligated to maintain for tax, accounting, or regulatory purposes
- Dispute resolution data — information related to any pending or resolved disputes, complaints, or legal proceedings
Any retained data will be kept securely and will only be used for the specific legal purposes mentioned above.
Important: Active Subscriptions
Please cancel any active subscriptions before submitting your account deletion request. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel subscriptions managed through Google Play. You must cancel them separately through the Google Play Store to avoid being charged after your account is deleted.
